Defamation and hate message; the noose tightens.

One characteristic of  hate-siters is that they always 'parrot' the same message, like talking magpies with a cliché.  Let's recall a few: they are all 'right thinking.' They all 'know' that David Bain had injuries 'consistent with having been in a fight with his brother Stephen.' The also 'know' that David's prints were on the rifle 'in blood.' 'Right thinking'  is subjective of course and also a type of banner because if one is 'right thinking' one is off to a jolly good start 'right' down the gurgler. Of course to become a 'hate messenger' one must be able to think not like a 'right thinking New Zealander' but in fact like a magpie.

I'm no expert on magpies but I have an 'attack on sight' parrot called Horace. Horace is an amazing parrot in that I never needed to teach him how to bite, he taught himself, he also taught himself how to climb on the roof and drop lead headed nails on passers-by  On one excursion into the wild he entered a neighbour's house where they were quite taken with him until they decided they didn't really want him in the kitchen wrecking things because he likes to wreck, and talk and be cheeky, but most of all to stand his ground. I don't intend to be disrespectful to magpies or parrots by saying that hate-siters are like them, but such types of birds like shiny things and mischief. Magpies as you may know are fiercely territorial and will swoop on dogs or humans they fear might be getting close to a nest. So my comparison between magpies and stalkers is not disrespectful to those highly intelligent birds so protective of their own territory and young. Perhaps lemmings are a better picture or description.

As we see from the New York Times article above, 'twitterers' are now 'relegated' to the ranks of defamers and hate messengers if they're silly enough to repeat information that may not be true, or simply make something up in order to embarrass or frighten others. Reading that article it seems to this point that 'Twitter' itself sees it's position as 'indemnified' by virtue of 'user rules' possibly a contract of sorts which makes users responsible for what they 'tweet.' Good luck with that one. As we found out earlier this year when Trade Me settled with Joe Karam a private entity can not indemnify themselves against the Law. Despite best efforts at denial Trade Me rightly realised they own what they publish whether the words are their own or not. Their previous position was similar in law of a 'chain of responsibility' not existing, which overlooked that the supplier of a vehicle or a firearm to robbers has liability. Twitter, or indeed the Law on their behalf, will have to consider that if a person 'tweets' a publication which is offensive or threatening, if but for the help of Twitter it will never have reached it's target and the broader audience who witness the offence - same as for message boards and indeed traditional print, newspapers and magazines.

Overall, hate-siters with knitting needles poised over voodoo dolls will see this as another attack on 'right thinking' parrots, magpies or whatever you might wish to call an idiot that repeats mantras of hate dutifully because they like the sound of it and believe it must be true because some other idiot magpie called Kent published it on a hate-site. But in the reported case we see the 'real dangers' when 'right thinking' idiots make false claims against people, or 'report' information that is simply not truthful or indeed they have no way of confirming whether it is true apart from hearing from another parrot called Vic Purkiss, or maybe Melanie White the 'Truth Confessor.'

Fortunately 'stick and stones' may not break your bones, but in the hands of our New Zealand hate-siters they took their defamation and hate-message further. They 'proposed' visits for 'cups of tea,' to take children away from families, send family friends around who were 'boxers,' or to 'rescue' children or partners of their sworn enemies - those that weren't 'right thinking New Zealanders. Annette Curran, Christine Williams and Glenda O Brien were busy laying false complaints and drooling over the prospect of having me arrested on Christmas Eve with the help of a larger hate-organisation, one quite happy to accept the word of similarly dull minded half-wits. Little did that second organisation know that the dullard 'twisted sisters' were recording all their machinations on Annette Curran's hate-site that she had opened to the world by advertising, how sad for her that she was so thick that she didn't realise that the money she might earn by having advertising on her site would also sink her. Advertising of course allowed any punter into the until then 'secret site,' coven or whatever you might wish to call it. One thoughtful contact of mine copied everything available to the public that linked through advertising - all panic broke loose, threats of court action you name it. Of course you can't publicly display something in your own stupidity of thinking that it was private and still claim privacy when any reasonably intelligent person would understand the format of advertising.  That information gathered still serves today in current and prospective litigation along with leaks from Kent Parker's hate-sites.

So a few doors are yet to be knocked upon, hen's yet to come home to roost thanks to the leaky sites and idiots who thought their hate was normal and right thinking. In the wider view we will all learn the simple adage 'what you print you own.' An adage that Twitter may yet discover, and certainly now a large number of their users begin to understand.

The hate-sites: the end is nigh.

After over two years since cyber-attacks, stalking and harassment was commenced on line by Annette Curran (aka golfergold) of Kapiti Coast and Glenda OBrien (aka kalnovitch, laddiefatcat) of Dunedin and others such as Christine Williams (aka msspw, millie) dustproof and nina-s they are all but routed. While none of these people have been yet brought to Court, the files against their on-line activities and law-breaking are complete and formulated into a cognitive package that might yet be used against them or other parties for a variety of issues.

Kent Parker and Vic Purkiss who jumped on the bandwagon, with those mentioned above and others, are now crippled in a legal battle of which they have no prospect of winning. Parker has made a damning admission against himself in sworn papers that's likely to have done as much harm to him as anything else that could have been brought against him to prove his role as a publisher and defamer, and more succinctly as a hate-siter and sicko. All of this is contained in the recent  Judgement which he at first admitted was a defeat, and over time (how predictable) preached of how it was an 'opportunity' to try the Bain case again. Oh well, in kent's case once an idiot always an idiot. Each morning when he and Vic wake they will have the prospect of their own ruin churning in their stomachs, ruin that they sought to set upon others - free men and women alike with the right to live peacefully in this land without the attentions of a rabid mob. If you read this Kent, remember your snickering comments about my family and understand at least now the strength that grew in me when your cast your sick eyes and attention over my wife and children.

Changes have at last occurred in cyber-space here in New Zealand. The biggest site Trade Me now specifies that users must not harass or defame others on their boards. While it remains to be seen if live publishing online can ultimately be contained as lawful, I recognise the effort made to ensure that the risks are actively reduced - a substantial step in the right direction. All things have a starting point and one was obviously my letter to TM almost 2 years ago pointing out that their site was being populated by waves of hate-siters whose tools were lying, defamation and threats. If TM had been less like a slow maneuvering vessel they would have most likely avoided the litigation that was commenced against them about 6 months later and which continues on - probably inevitably to some sort of settlement between them and the plaintiff Joe Karam.

There has been an increased appreciation that online publishing isn't by any stretch of the imagination 'a chat in the pub.' Also, there is a sharp awareness between all online publishers that there protocols are recognised as being no different from the print media and with the same restraints. There is recognition by precedent before the Courts that nzers can be harassed on line and can take that to the Courts for relief without apparent need for massive law changes, but rather simply the Judicial appreciation that the written word, whether on a computer screen on a published newspaper, is not diminished one from the other - but that they, and their impact is one and the same, screen or printed page.

Perhaps also there grows an awareness of the social change that cyberspace first brought which seemed to have no limits or boundaries to the recognition that there were always limits and boundaries, and that people would invariably learn that a hot pool discovered on a trip into the bush in Rotorua didn't need to have a sign, erected by the Council, to warn of the dangers. Because the dangers were clear and present to anyone of experience and common sense. Also the fears that the anxious online users held that they might be restrained by not being able to 'speak their minds' or engage in snooping and prying into the lives of others,  by some measure of insanity or social deviance, they thought they 'owned' because of a superior position they felt to hold over others not 'as good as them,' or deficient in some compared to the 'elite' defamers and stalkers. And for the more socially well-adjusted, the opportunity to see some measure of decorum and restraint arrive on message boards that might be expected by a mature and civilised society looking to progress itself with new social mediums.

I chose the title above for the obvious reasons that Parker, Purkiss, Curran and others hate-site owners have fallen over into redundancy to become an odd fixture in the recent past. A past where individuals that might otherwise have been socially moderate became monsters to an all consuming hate, sated by a false power they felt was their 'destiny' or 'right' to interfere mercilessly into the lives of not only those they considered their enemies but also the families, children and friends of those as well. The first individual, in this now expiring saga, was Annette Curran, quickly to be joined by Glenda OBrien, nina_s and others. I additionally chose the title because these hateful people and their campaigns inadvertently gave something good to nzers. They gave the opportunity for nzers to learn and see that there is a way out from being stalked and harassed in cyberspace and that the Courts can help them. This could now be seen as a blue print in the future for those that might choose cyber-space to bully, threaten or commence hate-campaigns to be stopped quickly and efficiently. I say that being mindful of the nz teenagers being bullied on line that featured on Close Up this week.

More pages yet to write and investigate on this subject, particularly the links that fed and used the hate-sites that now lie expired, but an interim report on substantial progress for the benefit of the majority.

For those that are interested....

2nd call over tomorrow of a few named hate-siters and stalkers, one of whom (it must be said the most verbose) is letting the cat out of the bag nicely, giving the Court a good old lecture and thinks he's advising the Court on the 'incorrect' verdict in the Bain case when in fact the Bain case is not the issue. It might be a case of 'straitjacket fits' for him soon. Interesting to note the continuation of the 'I believe therefore I am right' impetus which has always worked badly because belief must be held on good reason and logic and not for convenience. It works badly now as well, but the stakes are higher and the networking of the stalkers of which I've been aware of for 2 years is emerging as a more complete picture. Each inch gained is precious to keep the integrity of the Justice system complete, and soon the measure may not be in inches or centimetres but rather in yards and metres. But for me, to bring into the light and visibility those that dared come near by family.

Some particular names were called in Court

today, those of some vociferous motor mouths but they were no where to be seen. Not even able to front in a number of three, the once proud squadron of hate. Crawled back no doubt beneath a rock, stalkers all -grown quiet, fiddling in darkness, bold no more, when called to task for feasting on the lives of others. But they'll be called again, brought to account for the stalking done, others as well. You bet ya.

Judging the hate-sites.

The hate-sites, Justice For Robin Bain, Counterspin, Guiltyfreeforums were always going to be judged by the conduct and behaviour of their membership. Normally, a bona-fide cyber site would be judged according to it's performance as a social site, it's ability to inform the public, gather support for a cause, it's completion of acts in the interest of the public or sections of the public, it's entertainment or educational value and so forth.

But how is a hate-site judged? By the measure of hate achieved? Well, in respect of those mentioned above they are assessed by the sum total achievements of the members and individual achievements. These sites sought 'Justice' for the dead Robin Bain and they went about it by attacking all the institutions of a civilised society, the Justice system, the Jury, individual witnesses, key figures and finally anyone defiant enough to stand in their way. Before doing that, it is timely to look at the hate-site claims and subsequent achievements.

Kent Parker of founder of 2 sites promised a 20,000 strong petition and reached less than 2,000 included in which were dubious signatures and repeated signatures by those such as Lindsay Kennard signing under different variations of his name. Kent Parker promised law changes and made claims that a political party would rise from the analysis of the evidence in the Bain trails. Of course Kent Parker now faces more pressing problems and has fallen to silence, while the hate-sites have gone underground.

Kent Parker was going to achieve in his objectives in an open way. Unfortunately that 'open' way was his way or the highway. His sites cited evidence which didn't exist and carefully vetted out evidence proving Robin Bain as the killer of his own family, he promoted jury stalking by Mike Stockdale and others. Of course this stalking soon became 'acceptable' because no one said 'hold on this isn't right.' No one knew when to apply the brakes and fit within the restraints and conformity to law of a modern society. Suddenly people like Ralph Taylor and Trevor Fox were elevated to almost 'star' like status in cyberspace driven along by being 'right' and having an apparent 'authority' to punish and expose disbelievers. There was no restraint shown, no sobering from blood lust as Trade Me provided a perfect vehicle to allow stalking and harassment on its boards.

Odd allies such as Glenda OBrien and Annette Curran veteran stalkers and hate-messengers were embraced into the fold which for a time (for the poor minded) must have been seen as a crusade of sorts where any potential enemy could be dealt to by the righteous. Of course it is now clear that the righteous were misinformed bigots and idiots who left behind them a trial a mile wide, through a litter of stalking and threats.

The most interesting thing is the question of how far these people allowed themselves to descend into criminality, how far they believed their 'entitlements' allowed them to break the law without realising their false goals were already lost and what they were doing was not finding Justice but destroying it. How anyone could imagine that lying about evidence or hiding it was a pursuit of Justice is indicative of a sick mind. Finding or understanding the truth is not qualified by what is hidden or lied about along the way. Truth is unconditional, itself to be recognised not to be sold or peddled by witchdoctors who have hidden bones in an effort to subdue spirits or hide reality.

Perhaps, most of all Christine William's death threat and the similar threat by Kent Parker sum up best of all the judgement of the hate-sites and what little they achieved apart from their own vilification and official scrutiny - and thus allows a resounding if unwelcome pass mark, the sites spread hate, threatened the fabric of society to be overcome by zealots and dangerous lunatics. Long may they be silent and good speed to bringing them to Justice.

For the watchers of subtle signs...

you may have noticed the behaviour of the hate-siters is restrained to some degree, but true to form Kalnovitch, Williams and Cameron have imploded - delivering more evidence at a very appropriate time and in a very appropriate way. I guess proving, that for them, stalking is disease. A diseased act by diseased minds, no wonder the hate-sites are closing up shop.

Hate-sites, the downward trend continues....

Of course Counterspin, JFRB and Guiltyfreeforums continue to exclude themselves from public scrutiny, the irony that theirs was a 'public campaign' for right thinking nzers and from which the public are now locked out would be lost on few observers.

There are some reports that what goes on behind those closed doors has become even more bizarre and is populated now by only a handful of nutters. There are no longer calls to arms, hordes invading the boards willing to promote what they now must realise was simple propaganda and a hate message. The fact that David was treated as a suspect from the outset, had a invasive strip search and tests and was not observed to have had any scratches on his chest has cooked the goose for a good number of previous doubters. Add to that the father's blood inside the rifle despite two crown pathologists claiming it was a shot from some distance, and there is overwhelming proof that Robin Bain killed his family and then himself.

Kent Parker is no man's land, his credibility gone, his dreams of political office now realised as idiotic as his endeavours in music, psychology, and computer finesse. Largely it is only the idiots such as Stockdale continue posting page after page of lonely bs on TM while TM watch and hope that it offers them some credibility in their position that they are not a publisher.

Stockdale, transparent fool that he is, seems to believe that he enhances his argument that he is not a hate-site administrator, nor a liar or persecutor or stalker by continuing posting crap. He seems to believe his crap will save him and not in fact expose him as harassing others by perpetual defamation and lies.

Else where on the net the drums beat that this blog (which of course most will know, post dated the TM stalking, outing and harassing) justifies the execution of cyber crime by a number of named hate-siters and some yet to be named. Showing once again the sheer idiocy of these morons who could think crime against a another person can be excused by what that person did before or after the act.

So interesting times arrive, a chance for some families affected by the hate-siters stalking to test in Court the protection of law against such things, and against ongoing defamatory harassment, breaches of privacy, the question of what constitutes publishing and why their should be any distinction between a cyber publisher and the print media when clearly the cyber publishers in many instances disregard that they have any responsibility or even energy to operate within general publishing standards and societal norms.

A time is allocated for 4 unwise souls.

The day is nominated when there'll be no lists by supergoof, no lies from Kennard, no sarcasm from Fox - no stalking from any of them, no use of TM to harass, stalk and defame while singing a hate song. Their mantras will not be listened to, it will only be their behaviour that is of interest, the legality of that behaviour.
The law, that sets us apart from beast - is upon the door step of the hate-siters. First 4, but others who have stalked families are not forgotten and in a retrospective silence ponder now, that you were never entitled, to lie, spread hate, stalk, make false allegations - never entitled just because of vitriol and blood lust to watch by torch light a lynching. When you finally calm, try and make out through your tears, and self-pity, whose face it was that you played your torch upon, and could not quite make out in your excitement, for fear that you hung your own God or yourself.

The repertoire narrows....and only the sheer idiots remain, Rachael Membery and Trevor William Fox...

I haven't worried about much in these threads. but in the Watson threads I always quoted the official document information came from.
I have been amused to see the quoting of 'official facts' most often with out citing a source so nothing can be verified. Is it obvious some have extensive access to source documents but the validity of those documents is far from clear while they are not identified. I have my own reasons for believing the original verdict was correct and nothing since has altered that. The Court of Appeal and Privy Council agreed with that verdict as did the second Appeal Court. Unfortunately the third Court of Appeal made findings of fact it was not entitled to and we have ended up with the fiasco that now prevails. We have only second and third and forth hand hearsay evidence of Laniet alleging incest. There is simply no credible corroboration of the allegations. so they are quite simply that allegations not facts. Laniet unfortunately was the source of the lack of corroberation in her allegations in her propensity to exaggerate her life in PNG.
The last factor I struggle with very hard are the so called witnesses who have come forward in reply to advertisements etc. over the years. The psychology and research into memory and memory retrieval, would caste considerable doubt on the veracity on the accuracy of the memories of many witnesses. To be clear I am not saying these people are making up memory deliberately, rather that time, retrieval and positive reinforcement of errors. It leads to false memory, but it is honestly held false memory and it is far more common that some believe.

I very rarely state something as a fact unless I can reference it to a source.

Here is Kennard almost pious about his need to be accurate and post only the truth, yet in recent memory he has extensively claimed David Bain was not strip searched and had no intimate samples taken - more on that later. But an interesting discipline Kennard uses to strengthen what he always knew were lies and which he invariably knew would hurt David Bain. The truth was never going to hurt David, it was liars like Stockdale, Taylor, Fox and Kennard that would do that.

I need to say thanks because so much of the disaster that befalls you and the other hate-siters was caused by you. You were the foremost defamers, then stalkers, then threateners and finally those that made false complaints. It was your efforts that drove others on to bring you to task, a mission which you aided in every way. You gave an example that others like Christine Williams, Maryanne Newton and others willingly embraced. Your actions encouraged people like Melanie White to write false confessions. You never cared anything for any of the Bain family only for your opportunity to lie and twist so that others would be hurt, you revelled in that while all the time everything you did was collected.

I may be among those called at the defamation hearings, you may be there - I hope so. Then I can look you in the eye having first taken oath and tell the truth about you. You will hear me read out my letters that questioned your rights as a group to target people using lies and misinformation. Hear how I chose the word hate-site before it was totally evident that indeed your sites are hate-sties and you bring messages of hate. Reveal how, if it is relevant, I could never accept that David should be defamed or the belief that there was some public ownership of him. Also how I was encouraged to start this blog to fight back your efforts to silence me following your stalking of my family and friends - you should never have done that, or any of the other things because you gave me all the encouragement I needed.

Counterspin had about 8,000 Unique Visitors in 2010
Counterspin was visited by at least 7,435 unique visitors in 2010 according to google analytics, see attached. This includes 181,235 page views and 31,411 visits. Google analytics was only installed mid February so the actual figures will be higher. Awstats, which covers the full year shows 40,082 visits but doesn't calculate the unique visitors for the year by default. A realistic estimation is that there were about 8,000 unique visitors for the year.

The above, when read supeficially, means approximately less than a (disappointing for CS) 25% of that number of unique visitors have signed the petition. Giving a still rather weak argument that more than 75% of their visitors don't support their cause as a first impression. However, because petition numbers peaked in 2008 the number of visitors per signatures could be less than 1% in the last eleven months, or a 99% failure to 'catch' and 'inform' new members.

I'd be interested in spikes, there have been 2 in in 2009, the defamation charges and probably to a lesser extent the Laws debate which would be linked to the Bryan Brown documentary none of which influenced the petition figures in any meaningful way.
It appears the first rather rapid (to a point) spike was in reaction to the article written by van beynan which time has proven to have been shown as very one sided because it didn't mention the blood inside the rifle, the children's spatter on one of Robin's shoes, the blood smears on his hands that can't have arrived there after the suicide.

On the face of it CS is a spent force, and will be unable to gain the rapid ground available to it through its propaganda parade just after the trial. Most telling against it, I believe, has been the misinformation it has peddled and which has been discredited and continues to be discredited. Release of salient material from the trial transcripts have blown the sites credibility apart. Also that they seen as insular and inward gives them a curiosity aspect rather than anything more substantial, one could say something in order of a 'freak' show.

I read recently what an appraisal of the average individual makeup of it's membership is, seems to be white, middle aged and older, with a common interest in pets and a history of failed relationships also seems common. A very small but interesting bunch.

Addendum to above: The major viewing spike was 18th June 2010. The closest established event to that of any notable consequence was the announcement of the Defamation proceedings. While there may have been some other unknown trigger, one would presume the spike was caused by a 'curiosity' effect, people wanting to see the site first hand and make some judgement about it.
So it appears we have another footprint as indicating the general bad publicity the site and its members have brought upon both themselves and the site. Of course it is largely closed down, probably the most notable indicator of its decline into oblivion.

Not only did you people stalk me and others, but you fermented a plan to make complaints about me and others. Because apart from being called names (justifiably) by me you had nothing of substance to complain about so you did some inventing. I knew about it sometime ago because you published your intentions on the Internet (which I saved, thank you) when one door was closed on you, off you went elsewhere only to have more doors closed on you - however, the information came to my attention officially.

Of course, I have the right to investigate these false and rejected claims and take action on them or consider laying a complaint. People of your ages should not be blinded by the opportunity for revenge having been caught out and exposed much to your chagrin, because the result is that you become known as nutters who tell lies. Of course, I will look into the matters fully. I understand others are involved but I will hold that information until I have proof. Bad luck, you lose.....again.

I can recall that nx actually attended the trial so it must be sickening for him to read their take on things they have no idea about, and from memory he is also a proficient and experienced gun enthusiast-shooter. The great Crusaders exposed as lying cheating pedo-supporters. They hardly lasted a year before Parker put up the closed sign, what losers. But I have to hand it to Annette Curran what a trend she started, stalking and hate-sites, what a sick minded individual she is - daring to call herself a 'right thinking Nzer.' Or even implying that she could think. Then along came the megalomaniac kent Parker, busting to be recognised for a crystal like intelligence that ultimately shattered by it's collision with reality and his own slowly awoken awareness that he was nothing more than a fool who had launched a campaign that could not survive the truth.

So that's what did it folks, the truth. The truth undid their lies and their willingness to stretch the truth into unrealistic shape, their thoughtless mantras, their nonsensical cut and pastes that made no sense and weren't based on facts. Their arguments that collided with one another, such as calling for justice for the family and victims while in the next breath attacking the already lost daughter whose father would kill her, attacking the mother that had been driven to bed by the misery her life had become from a sick husband who needed to finally destroy that which he had been working to destroy for years. Even in death the hate-siters could feel no sympathy for Margaret and Laniet short of generalised words that never accounted for what the two women had been through and how they would continue to be maligned after their deaths by those that sought to 'preserve' their memories and seek 'justice' for them by calling one a lying prostitute and the other deranged.

Perhaps the last chapters of the Bain tragedy are being written, that for the good of us all justice has been righted, compassion and common sense have defeated hate and lies and prejudice. Justice has risen above spite and bitterness, above the abuse of children and the 'need' for it to be hidden. There remains work to be done, but knowing that the Counterspin site is wrecked and burning is another step to restoring the quality of life that came from hard work and honest toil, the willingness (in the old adage) to giving a bloke a fair go.
