Corrections from the man who would walk on water:

Your post pretty much sums it up doesn't it?
Yes, I agree, you are right. I'm sorry I was completely mistaken.
"There could be a number of subsequent discoveries that would create a necessity to hang curtains". That is entirely valid.
A crime scene is a complex and fluid environment whose inner workings are way beyond my skills to understand.
Did you know that the detectives initially thought that it was a murder-suicide but because they were thorough in their examination they tested and interviewed David anyway?
[Note, errors corrected: ed]
As any reader can see Kent Parker needs to correct what he sees as other people's 'errors.' Obviously anybody that doesn't agree with Camp Mother is in error. All this from a 'reasonable' person, somebody who blogs about the symbolic 'reasonable' man. But it is helpful in determining who the real Kent Parker/Campmother is.
He is somebody that runs a hate-site full of stalkers and propagandists. He is somebody that bans any members of his hate-site who don't agree with him. Furthermore, his credibility extends to be willing to alter a text published on his site in good faith - altering something, as we see above, to reflect his own view and the purported 'errors' of the writer. He is the guy that condones his members stalking jurors to find any fault in them that might remedy Kent's failed belief that an innocent man would be convicted, and that he wasn't indicates that some 'proof' lies in the community somewhere to show the Jury's decision was wrong. Probably not just wrong, but indeed corrupt.
Kent as we have seen is very delusional. He has deluded himself into the belief that he would have some public prominence based on his ignorance of the law in general and his misapprehensions about a murder/suicide case he has shown to be incapable, or unwilling, to understand. Perhaps Kent's greatest delusion (that at least we know about) is that our Minister of Justice would accept an unable to be authenticated petition from a hate-site full of nutters and stalkers. What a delusion, people would pay good money to be so deluded, unfortunately of course, and I don't want to be remiss here in my comments about the mentally fragile, Kent's delusion pills last a lifetime and the average punter probably only wants to have a passing delusion and not something permanent.
I see I also forgot to mention old deludo's petition has people's names on it that haven't given their permission for them to be there, something all his administrators obviously consent to. I would just note that old kento was already erratic and delusional even before he got sued shown by the fact that the same thing that happened to rossco above has happened to others. I guess such behaviour is symptomatic of deranged hate-site masters.
For some time now I have wondered about the mindset and/or mentality of the people involved with the site counterspin.
ReplyDeleteTo satisfy my curiosity I attempted to discuss with these people not the falsified evidence put forward but the investigation it's self and in particular the first few hours in that house after the police had arrived.
I am not in the least bit interested discussing the evidence because I believe that the evidence was fabricated to give the impression that David Bain was responsible for the deaths.
It's painfully obvious what happened after the police arrived and had secured that property. After talking to David they concluded that they would in fact be investigating a murder/suicide.
It was a monumental blunder. They had their disposal the murdered, the murderer and the murder weapon, a rifle.
What went so terribly wrong?
It's pathetically simple. Ever though David was telling them the truth the police should never have believed him. David from the moment he pointed his finger at his father should have been considered THE prime suspect.
The dopey cops should have set to and attempted to prove David a liar.
It should have been obvious to these incompetent cops that someone had fired that rifle at least eight times (on this occasion it was nine times) and tested David's claim by conducting GSR tests on Robin. These tests should have been done at the earliest opportunity. They should have tested David also to see if he had used that rifle at the time.
How important is it to conduct GSR testing? Consider the following.
Value of GSR as Trace Evidence
GSR evidence is one of the most common and most heavily scrutinized sources of trace
evidence examined in violent crime investigations. Understanding GSR and
its value as significant trace evidence can aid in the investigation of violent
crimes involving firearms. GSR may directly link an otherwise unknown
subject to an environment of weapon discharge. GSR is typically found on the hands or clothing of persons who have been in the environment of a discharging firearm, but it may also be found on
objects in the vicinity of discharge. It is vital for law enforcement personnel
to understand how GSR is created and deposited and how such evidence is
collected. Forensic examiners, evidence collection officers, police officers, EMS personnel, medical professionals, and anyone who comes in contact with suspects and victims following
a violent crime must understand the potential existence and significance
of GSR evidence. Investigators must corroborate or disprove stories, confirm
or contradict suicides, and evaluate scenarios where there are no eye witnesses
or other types of investigative leads.
The most commonly asked question when a crime involving a firearm
has occurred is “Who fired the gun?” (or in the case of a suicide, “Are we
sure the victim actually fired the gun?”). These questions can often be
addressed simply by taking the time to correctly collect the evidence and
properly analyze the samples in the laboratory. Another common question that arises when GSR is present is “Can you be sure who fired the weapon?” The answer is not always clear. This is why
an understanding of how GSR is deposited, how it is collected, its persistence,
and the means of analysis are so critical. The examiner must consider all of
this information before forming any opinions. What can always be stated with certainty is that detection of GSR means a person or object was in the vicinity of a discharging firearm at some point in time. If GSR evidence is not properly collected and correctly analyzed, otherwise
critical forensic evidence may well remain insignificant or totally undetected. Over the past 40 years, various collection techniques and analytical procedures have been developed and refined.

ReplyDeleteDegradation of GSR
Particles of GSR are very durable particles composed of heavy metals that originate from the ammunition components. The inorganic particles that are examined can last in a normal environment indefinitely. Although the actual particles do not degrade under normal conditions, they may not remain on the hands or clothing of a subject over time, because of the physical activity of the subject.
“Over the past 40 years, various collection techniques and analytical procedures have been developed and refined”.
At the time of the Bain murders/suicide GSR various collection techniques and analytical procedures had been developed and refined almost thirty years.
Then there is the testing of the rifle its self to determine the highest concentration of plume.
A “plume” is the gaseous formation that exits all openings of a firearm following the discharge of around of ammunition. The objective of the study was to show the area of highest potential
for the collection of GSR under normal firing conditions.
It is highly unlikely that tests were done on the rifle that Robin used to determine the extent of the 'plume' and where the highest concentration of GSR would be found but in any event it would have been a complete waste of time because Robin's body had been moved to the morgue beforew GSR samples were taken.
I am not suggesting that this is the same rifle that Robin used but it is at least .22-caliber. But the study clearly shows GSR would have been found on Robin's arms and face especially considering he fired that rifle eight times.
Remington Model 550 Semi-Automatic (22 Long Rifle).
History. This weapon is a typical .22-caliber semi-automatic rifle.
Description. This long rifle has a 15-shot tubular magazine and a 24-in.
barrel length. The ejection port is 90° to the right.
Objective. To show the effect of a .22 rifle.
Area of Highest Concentration. A very light concentration over the crook
of the support arm and very light wispy puffs over the shooting hand,
face, forehead, and hair.
Summary of Results
The most consistent area of plume concentration for rifles and shotguns
is the crook of the support arm; however, blow-back or drift of the original
plume formation is toward the chest, shoulder, face, and hair, with heavy
concentrations for some weapons and light for others.
What I found most interesting during my discussion with the mad hatters from hattersspin was Clark Kent Parker was quite satisfied that the PCA clowns had dismissed Joe Karam's claim that the crime scene was contaminated etc and that GSR samples had beem taken from Robin as he lay after being moved to the morgue. Parker's idiotic response was “at least they were taken the same day”.
His mad hatter mate the looney Mike Stockdale was happy that samples weren't taken from Robin because it would have shown him an extremely poor light or words to that effect.
Mike Stockdale also told me that he was not concerned in the least that David had been found not guilty and that he held no anomosity towards him his motivation was his angry hatred of Joe Karam.
Odd individuals the both of them indeed.
It's not that difficult to work out that the cops blundered and David Bain suffered as a result.
Thanks for that information. Very straight forward points about the significance of the plumes of GSR and how they would settle over the rifle user. What a tragedy that these tests were not conducted. I've heard argument that they (the tests) are unreliable and so forth. However, nothing is lost from using 30 years of scientific experience in the area to see if a conclusion could be drawn. In fact, as is shown in the summary of the what the tests can do, they may have offered significant results from the carpets and curtains, beanie etc in the suicide scene. Thanks for that. I think the evidence abroad that offers to undermine GSR tests is compensate for the failure of the police to have conducted them. I recall that one young officer giving evidence saying that he was expecting that the GSR tests would have been completed at the outset. It's the officers like him that I feel disappointment for, good steady investigators using common sense and not assumptions - let down however by 'superiors.'
ReplyDeleteThanks for your frankness I appreciate it. During the course of my conversation with Parker and Stockdale, Parker criticised me for not stating my position as eloquently as he does. This comment highlighted for me Parker's extreme intolerance of others. This extreme intolerance coupled with his hatred of Joe Karam and the mesmerizing affect the his own intelligence obviously has on himself has clouded his judgement.
ReplyDeleteAn idiot is still an idiot no matter how you care phrase it and Parker and his trusty off-sider Stockdale are idiots.
Stockdale and Parker are obsessed. This obsession of theirs has been generated by their hatred of Joe Karam nothing more nothing less.
I would like to send them a great big K(eep) I(t) S(imple) S(tupid) to comfort them through these troubled times and a little bit of advice.
Get over yourselves you are not that important.
