The headline says "Karam must reveal funding: Judge." Hardly a headline because the information is already in the public forum but this isn't:

Oh dear, the hens have come home to roost. The removed material, maybe that's the stuff that went up while the witches had a good cackle about it then was taken down by 'democratic process.' The very very dirty washing to show the credibility of the hate-siters and the 'merit's of their campaign. More documents about setting up the website when most members didn't know that any documents had been supplied let alone more to come.
Now I assume the setting up of the site was important not only because of the old saying 'start' as you mean to go but for general liability, if Parker can't pay maybe those involved in setting up the site will be looked at - fair enough by most considerations. What were the tactics to be employed as an example? Bombarding Trade Me with posts anti Karam, complaining about TM posters that were seen as supporting Karam, conspiring to harass and defame or worse?
And of course who were those that 'helped' set up the site and were they connected to the police or others who might have had a biased interest in the hate campaign. Who were the contacts and which media were involved, there is one obvious 'big fish' among those and I wonder how he and his contacts might be feeling. That is those that used Parker and the other idiots thinking they were operating from a safe distance. How will the witnesses Parker claims to be calling be feeling about that now, not knowing what is known about them and the part they played in the hate and defamation campaign.
Ah and of course the private sections where false confessions written by a site administrator are to be found and among the deleted material the machinations to frighten and threaten members of the public - Christine Williams, Glenda O Brien and Annette Curran must be delighted beyond reason. Yes, what is in those private sections and deleted material - I can tell you that it is nothing good folks only those that have committed criminal or civil offences, or planned to do so, dump evidence. The dumped material is evidence of guilt and all the 'right thinking' nzers are caught out. Bloody lovely.
The Judge 'knocked back most of Mr Parker and Mr Purkiss's discovery requests' saying that they were 'not entitled to fish for some defence.' So still no merit-able defence and still nothing concrete by which to confirm the merits or 'honest opinion' of their claims. Sad movies for the twisted sisters with this news. If you wonder why Karam wasn't 'knocked back' on his discovery requests is because the Judge must have decided they are material to the case. But there will be other advantages there, foremost for the public to see the hate-site and its members opened to scrutiny. For Karam there will perhaps be opportunities to seek 'bigger fish' in the campaign against he, the legal team and David. Some others will see the opportunity to connect evidence against the bunch of rat bags that rose from that site with the intention of invading the lives of fellow New Zealanders and their families. The stakes have ratcheted up for both the money and liberty of some those involved all in good time.

ReplyDeleteOn the 19th July, AFTER the hearing, Kent went home, logged in to TradeMe, and bought a copy of each of Karam's earlier books on the Bain case.
Perhaps he was too busy 're-engineering his voice' as he so pretentiously put it, to read the books prior to the hearing. Or perhaps his ego is so great, and he is so thick, that he really believed his own self-puffery.
He makes himself more and more ridiculous. His fan-club are more and more desperate. Oh dear, how sad, what a pity, never mind.
If Kent is having a problem finding all the stuff he removed, I have copies of it, perhaps I should send the judge a copy of what I have, just incase Kent forgets where he's put it?

Kent felt he might need it, which after having heard him sing, I would agree with. The desire to quiet the noise that closely resembles a strangling cat, is likely to bring out an adverse reaction in some people.

Does he provide the court with ALL of the hidden and removed material, or does he try holding back some of the more damning stuff only to find out that much of it has already been given to Mr Karam. That would show him up as lying to the court. Tough one, that.

It seems ridiculous that I wrote to Parker about this situation over 2 years ago and he laughed - so much for that. They're damned if they do and damned if they don't with no one to blame but themselves. As we would say in the school yards - good job.
ReplyDeleteWell, here is another conundrum for him. Does he inflate the numbers of his followers to show he is just one of many 'right thinking people'? or does he tell the truth, that there is actually only a couple of dozen of them, thereby diminishing the amount of damage done to Mr Karam?

DeleteWell, well, well. Kenty has posted a new bit of news (several days late) on the CS website - a link to Binnie's statement about interviewing David Bain.
ReplyDeleteBut he (Kent, not Binnie) seems to have overlooked the news about the hearing on the 19th in which the judge 'knocked back' his absurd and ignorant demands for 'discovery' of documents so that he could try, post hoc, to find something to justify his defamation of Karam.
I wonder how he justifies that to his fan club? Do you suppose he argues that this is a media battle and he needs to manage his media image? But wait - isn't that 'spin' and 'propaganda'? It must be very disappointing for him that most media saw through his vain attempt to use them to fight his battles for him: one report on TVNZ and coverage on MSN news and Yahoo new is all he got; and even though that was fairly obviously biased in the headline, it did tell that he had been 'knocked back' and what the Judge's comment was.
When will Kent and Vic realise that they have no defense? Or is Kent's ego so overblown that he is determined to go down and take Vic and anyone else he can with him? Cutting off his nose to spite his face?
He could now be taking on a personal feeling of being a martyr, after all he developed an empathy of sorts with Robin Bain without understanding the case against the man. Similarly, he fails to understand the case against himself so it may be a short call for him to feel he is being persecuted. He has little regard for the damage he does to others and I believe quite early developed the idea that he was being 'picked on' for his defamatory harassment of others. He saw that as others being out of step with reality rather than it being the case that he is. To this point Parker has not displayed a single example of being aware of the damage he has caused to others either directly or by encouragement. Some part of him seems dead inside which made it quite easy for him to accept all the things which pointed to Robin's guilt as being of no consequence. Similarly, when his 'troops' went abroad into the lives of others and their families who didn't support the 'enlightened' ones he was unable to comprehend the damage he was encouraging on the lives of others.
ReplyDeleteWe must never lose sight that the man,while a bizarre oddity, is also a very sick individual. I think he has a psychiatric history which is very evident. He stacked up reasons to defend Robin without realising or caring, that those reasons re-victimised Robin's victims. He has never been able to show any sympathy for Margaret and her children, in fact he has often individualised them for attack - that probably foremost, along with his 'friends' shows a morbidity of character that lies within psychiatric dysfunction. Remember how many of them flocked to the 'cause' of Kylee Guy and therefore the attack against Ewen MacDonald. Despite MacDonald being found not guilty they 'knew' something was 'wrong' and were among the first witches to gather.
So Kent is incapable of realising he has no defence. Just as other hate-siters went on from blaming David, Karam, the lawyers, the Jury to attacking members of the public Kent cannot see any truth other than the one he chooses as best suiting himself. Even when he is proven wrong, he will reject that and it will be somebody else's fault and he will be the 'real' victim still attacking others as opportunity allows. That's why I want to see his hate-site shut down, not one good thing has come from within that mindless place of idiots. If you ever get the chance look at the face of Annette Curran, everything Parker hides within his dark mind is etched into the face of Annette - pure evil too coarse to be hidden.
