I guess what annoys me the most is how the pro David Bainers take the rest of us for a bunch of idiots.

I don't take stockdale for an idiot. I take him for a rambling fool who is past it. Senile decay has set in, and he doesn't realise it. If he did, he'd be so embarassed with what he was doing, he'd die of shame. I do wonder why his family doesn't stop him, but perhaps they just don't care anymore.
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty hard reasoning with somebody with a flatulence problem. For one thing your goggles tend to fog up due to the breathing apparatus required. When he was in his prime he had a habit of getting unsuspecting customers into the office and getting them to sign up to an old runner or he'd let one go. Then when they signed an hp deal on a 60% interest rate he'd let one go anyway. But you could be right, perhaps I'm giving him too much credit and he might simply be a fool trying to be an idiot.
