This is an official report from behind enemy lines, either that or it's a report about supergoose's gonads being caught in a fishing line. He should thankful that he's got some, however small they might be, and consider camp mother's personal situation instead of squawking and waking up the neighbours.
I can hear them from over there by the campfire, with campmother saying that Privy Council ordered David to remain in custody. The hate-siters are pretty upset about that because the New Zealand Courts granted David bail taking into account that he presented no threat to the public and that the NZ Courts knew they'd been naughty by wanting to be Judge and Jury and chief bottle washer all rolled up into one. Naughty, naughty, naughty.
Just when they had decided to be good NZ Courts and seperate their roles from Judgement, the Law and being a Jury - the Justice Department took over and decided there had to be a re-trial, even though the Privy Council said in their finding that their (The PC's) decision to order a retrail should ultimately be decided and balanced by the public interest. Well, as we know, this caused a lot of shoving and pushing, and no too little number of attempts at public rehabilitation and The Crown (Justice Department) decided a retrial was necessary to shore up their earlier mistakes and shove one up the Privy Council as well. Oh dear, gosh, goodness. What silly children.
And as if that wasn't bad enough, they gave no consideration to all the money that would be spent losing a case they couldn't win, or that the Dunedin Police would react by approaching a Victorian Forensic team and claiming to have a 'court order' that didn't exist to uplift evidence they were desperate to get their hands on. They were all so desperate it was kind of cute. But nobody was thinking about campmother and supergoose, no one gave a thought to them or the fact they'd be getting their ample sized bottoms sued for being naughty and defamatory as well. Such was the self-interest, that everyone involved didn't spare a thought for the founders of hate-sites and their sponsors. It's so sad.
